We sometimes think that the spiritual journey is about exploring the question “Who am I?” While that is an important question to live with, at times it may be more fruitful to ask, “Where am I on my spiritual journey?” Do you have a contemplative practice or are you living a contemplative life? Are others in your life willing or able to listen to your deepest concerns? Are you bored or experiencing the dryness of a Dark Night of the Soul? Are you wondering what you should do next?

The CLE program provides community support and spiritual enrichment to help you integrate contemplative practices such as the Welcoming Prayer, the Forgiveness Prayer, Lectio Divina, the Active Prayer, Contemplative Discernment, and Contemplative Service into your daily life. The process of integrating practices within a supportive community moves you from having a contemplative practice to living a contemplative life. We meet one weekend a month for nine months (September through May) on a Friday evening and all day Saturday at the Center for Contemplative Living in Denver. A Centering Prayer practice and a commitment to attend all sessions are the only requirements to participate.

Registration applications will be open for the next CLE in March of 2024.

There is an initial $250 deposit due upon registering. The total cost is $950.  A monthly payment plan will begin in September at $100/month for seven months. 

Scholarships will be available.
