Divine Therapy

In this six-week course, Fr. Keating takes a more advanced look at the process of spiritual transformation. He addresses issues that may surface after Centering Prayer has been practiced over an extended period of time, including St. John of the Cross’s Dark Night of the Soul, also called the Night of Sense, which describes a feeling of God’s absence in our lives or the “Biblical desert.”  

The class includes a twenty-minute period of centering prayer, viewing the videotape and time for discussion.

• The NIght of Spirit, drawing on St. Theresa of Avilas' paradigm for spiritual transformation,
• Fr. Keating's unique take on the Beatitudes, which speak to the potential for dismantling the false-self system and healing our emotional programs for happiness,

• Contemplation and Action.
